The price of the Indian India depends on the visa type, the method of application and the desired priority with which the application is processed. The electronic visa (e-visa) is the cheapest option and is available to almost all UK nationals.
You can typically use the cheaper e-visa for most trips
The Indian e-visa, which you can apply for online is cheaper than the physical sticker visa which must be affixed to your passport by a consular officer. You can use the e-visa for your trip if:
- You are not going on holiday for more than 90 days
- Your business trip will take a maximum of 180 days
- You will not be employed by an Indian organisation
- You will not be volunteering
- You do not have a criminal record
- You will arrive at one of the locations listed on this page
What is the price of the Indian e-visa?
You can easily apply for the Indian e-visa through this website, from £59,95 per person. This is a total price, including consular fees, the application fee and VAT. There are no additional fees unless you opt for a visa with a longer validity period or an extra high priority processing. The so-called urgent application comes with a surcharge of £17,50 per visa. In this case, the visa will not be issued within the average 7 days, but in approximately 24 hours. Note that this is an average; there is no guaranteed maximum processing time.
